Winter Favorites

Since Winter is easing its way out, I thought I’d take a moment to share the things I’ve been living in this season. With any season, I tend to have a few staples so that styling is easy and I always know what to grab. So I found 7 Winter favorites to share with you.

1. My Trusty Green Coat

I am in love with this coat. It’s long so it keeps me warm, it’s big enough to wear a bunch of layers under, and it is surprisingly flattering.

I got this one at American Eagle 1 or 2 years ago, but you can find similar ones anywhere.

2. Cozy Sweaters

I love a good cardigan, especially one that is thick and long. This one is great either with a winter dress and tights, or with jeans and a fitted top. This is also from American Eagle.

This sweater is so soft, easy to wear, and always looks great. A scarf or a statement necklace with some skinny jeans, and I’m good to go. This is from Pac Sun.

3. Skinny Jeans

These are THE jeans. It’s been a while since I’ve been so in love with a pair of jeans, but these are perfect for me. I seriously wear them every weekend. They fit like a glove and are the exact color I was looking for. These are from Bullhead Denim Co. at Pac Sun.

4. Chunky Scarves

It’s amazing how much warmer I am when I put on a scarf. Plus, it always makes an outfit look way more put together. I got this one from Stitch Fix. It is SO soft.

5. Booties

I have LIVED in this shoes all winter. I bought these totally on a whim and I’m so glad I did. To me, they look great with anything, especially with a chunky pair of socks. These are from Madden Girl.

These booties are perfect for making an everyday look a little nicer. They’re from American Eagle.

6. Black Satchel

I wouldn’t be wrong if I said this was the only bag I used all winter. Since it’s black, it goes with everything and has the best little details. I got this in Target in the fall.

7. Dark Lips and Black Eyeliner

When I want to look extra fancy during the cold months, this is what I add. I usually wear a little black eyeliner anyway, but a thicker line and a small wing bring it to the next level. Below is my new favorite: L’oreal’s Infallible Black Velvet.

Red lips or a dark fuchsia color are so fun to wear. I always feel put together with just a little lipstick. Below is Revlon’s Colorburst in Raspberry Pie and Revlon’s Love That Red.

Thanks so much for reading! I’m starting to feel more comfortable with fashion posts and I’m hoping to post some more soon. Let me know what you think below!
