Recently, I’ve been on the hunt for inspiration. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or just the general craziness of every day, but I haven’t been feeling as motivated as I’d like to. So, I started searching. I’ve been reading lots of articles, watching videos, and listening to some podcasts in order to find that inspiration and learn to better myself and my life.
In my search, I’ve found 3 podcasts that are full of tips and all under 20 minutes long. They are the perfect thing to listen to as you get ready in the morning or while driving to work. They leave me feeling inspired and ready to conquer the day!
1. Optimal Living Daily
This podcast posts daily with various tips and self help ideas. Steve Pavlina has put together some great resources from various people and from his own self help research. I love looking through his podcasts and downloading a few on the same subject.
2. The Daily Boost
This podcast also posts daily with lots of motivating tips from Scott Smith. His advice might seem simple, but it really gets you thinking and can inspire you to make a change! Plus he talks fast and laughs at himself which, I’m all about.
3. Happier with Gretchen Rubin
This one might be my favorite. Gretchen has spent her career figuring out what brings people happiness and how to achieve it! Every week, she gives a strategy to try at home to better your life. I especially love how Gretchen and her sister, Elizabeth Craft, are really honest. On each episode, they share a mistake, or “demerit,” they’ve made recently and how they are stopping their own happiness. They also share a “gold star” where they give a shoutout to someone for making a great step towards their own happiness. It’s inspiring while also reminding yourself that every small step counts.
